Lockup converter control

Enable lockup

Enable or disable the lockup control feature.

Disabled

Enable

use in mode

Specifies the auto mode(s) where the lockup converter control can be activated.

Auto + manual - Use the lockup converter control in both auto and manual mode.

Auto only - Use the lockup converter control in auto mode only.

manual only - Use the lockup converter control in manual mode only.

Min gear

The minimum gear that must be engaged before the lockup converter control can be activated.

Min engine temperature

The minimum engine temperature that must be exceeded before the lockup converter control can be activated.

Load conditions, partial throttle lockup

Note: Load conditions for partial throttle lockup, see below for full throttle lockup conditions.

Min TPS

The minimum TPS angle needed to activate the lockup converter control.

Max TPS

The maximum TPS angle allowed to keep the lockup converter control active.

Min MAP

The minimum MAP needed to activate the lockup converter control.

Max MAP

The maximum MAP allowed to keep the lockup converter control active.

DIsable RPM

Specifies the minimum allowed engine RPM for the lockup converter control to be active. Engine RPM below this value will disengage the lockup converter control.

Note: Put this value right above the idle RPM.

Brake signal disengage

Controls if the brake signal is used to deactivate the TCC solenoid activation.

Max RPM difference

Specifies the maximum RPM difference between input and output shaft RPM's to keep the lockup converter control active. RPM differences above this value will disengage the lockup converter control.

Note: The Speedsensor transmission input shaft RPM sensor need to be setup to use this function. Enter 0 to ignore RPM differences and disable this setting.

ENable RPM (table)

Specifies the enable RPM (minimum engine RPM) needed to activate the lockup converter control.

ENable SPEED (table)

Specifies the enable speed (minimum vehicle speed) needed to activate the lockup converter control.

Load conditions, full throttle lockup

Note: Load conditions for FULL throttle lockup, see above for partial throttle lockup conditions.

Enable lockup

Enable or disable the lockup control feature for full throttle conditions.

Disabled

Enable

Min gear

The minimum gear that must be engaged before the lockup converter control can be activated in full throttle lockup mode.

Min TPS

The minimum TPS angle needed to activate the lockup converter control in full throttle lockup mode.

Min RPM

The minimum engine RPM needed to activate the lockup converter control in full throttle lockup mode.

Min speed

The minimum vehicle speed needed to activate the lockup converter control in full throttle lockup mode.

Ramping/PWM

Note: Used on gearboxes where a TCC PWM input exist.

Enable ramping

Enables TCC ramping for smoother lockup engagement.

PWM frequency

Specifies the TCC PWM solenoid frequency.

RAMP MIN DUTY

Lower duty at which the ramping ends/starts.

RAMP MAX DUTY

Upper duty at which the ramping ends/starts.

Activation ramp time (TABLE)

Activation ramping time. Can have a Throttle axis to tune the engagement time depending on driving conditions.

DEActivation ramp time (TABLE)

Deactivation ramping time. Can have a Throttle axis to tune the engagement time depending on driving conditions.

Note: The transmission will not shift until the TCC has been disengaged, no extra lockup to shift delay time is needed (see setting below).

Timing

shift to lockup delay

Specifies the time (in seconds) before the lockup converter is engaged after a gear shift.

lockup to shift delay

Specifies the time (in seconds) to delay a command gear change when the lockup converter is engaged. Used to give the converter time to unlock before shifting.

lockup activation delay

A general lockup activation delay (in seconds) if none of the above delay features is used to delay the lockup activation.
