Averaging time
Averaging time
•SHORT - Averages the value every 100ms.
•MEDIUM - Averages the value every 500ms.
•LONG - Averages the value every 2000ms.
Note: An 0.95 alpha exponential smoothing is applied on the final value to smooth things out.
Hold at load
Option of a custom calibration,
Sometimes, in high horsepower performance applications, you might push the limits of the fuel system, and the fuel flow in the return line (where you most likely have mounted the ethanol sensor) might not have the expected fuel flow and can give you unexpected ethanol content readings, then this function will save the day for you.
This hold function basically holds the ethanol value for a period of time under high load.
hold value at load
Enables the possibility to hold the ethanol concentration value above a specific engine RPM and MAP value for a specific time.
above rpm
Specifies the engine RPM the system must see before holding the ethanol concentration value in the specified time.
above MAP
Specifies the least MAP the system must see before holding the ethanol concentration value in the specified time.
reactivation delay
Specifies the time in seconds to return to the true ethanol concentration value.
Ethanol concentration: Value from the actual ethanol content sensor.
Ethanol concentration used: Ethanol value the system uses when this function is enabled.
Custom calibration
Option of a custom calibration when running with anything other than ethanol or gasoline as fuel, like methanol.
Error below frequency
Specifies the below input frequency which is considered to be an error value.
Error above frequency
Specifies the above input frequency which is considered to be an error value.
frequency for 0%
Specifies the input frequency at 0% concentration.
frequency for 100%
Specifies the input frequency at 100% concentration.
When hold value at load is enabled, the used ethanol value can be "locked" for a specified time during load condition.
Real word example when the actual ethanol concentration value from the ethanol sensor is untrue because of lack of fuel.
