MODE button.

 

Outputs

Instrument cluster (speedometer (uses VSS SPEED), tacho, CEL, odometer etc) working.

Check engine light.

Tachometer output value presentation support.

Uses active boost table to set ECO/SPORT mode in dash (ECO = boost mode 1), SPORT any other boost modes).

MaxxECU oil temp to dash.

SPORT indication, when available in dash, triggered using the digital input function Chassis SPORT mode.

 

Requirements

Brake pedal/stop light active must be configured.

Vehicle wheel speed must be setup to get the speedometer properly showing speed.

Multi position switch to get gearbox position values.

DIN/AIN wired to seat belts to show correct seat belt indication in dash, it can be automatically turned on/off (see below example).

Mode button input

This button is captured to set ECO or SPORT mode indication in dash. It could also be used to control other features available in the OEM CAN Buttons settings.

 

 

Gear position in dash

 

1. Wire the gearbox analog position value to an available AIN (TEMP), and set the input class to a Multi position switch and calibrate the different position voltages.

2. By using a User table, with the analog input function set to CAN System user input 1, the gear indication in dash is connected to this table, see below example.

Seat belt warning in dash

Note: If no CAN system user input 2 is activated (or controlled), it will show the belt warning in dash.

When the CAN system user input 2 is above 0 (> 0), it will transmit seat belt warning to the Maverik Dash, if set to 0, it will shutdown the seat belt warning.
