MaxxECU control option to directly control the Liberty transmissions with optional air shift and 12V control solenoids.
Note: There is no need to use the Liberty transmission controller.
•Transbrake hold button OR Clutch switch
•Liberty, solenoid X (7 forwarding outputs).
Note: Which, and how many required solenoid outputs depends on what is needed for the used gearbox.
Note: The Clutch/Transbrake interlock is required when using the Neutral lockout feature. Without it, the system may attempt to shift into Reverse or first gear at speed if the driver accidentally presses the shift buttons while in Neutral.
1. Enable the required (and optional) outputs in Outputs --> Output config.
2. Activate all the required (and optional) inputs, here example of the Transmission UP shift.
3. Set the gear calculation to shiftcounter/automatic (sequential gearboxes only) in Speed/Gear , Gear calculation.
4. Set the actual gear count on the transmission.
5. The rest of the settings are under Motorsport --> Sequential gearbox.
Solenoid activation time does not affect the Liberty outputs, they will stay on as long as it's in gear. You can set these to anything.
Everything else should work like a normal sequential transmission.
Example from a fully working liberty transmission control run.
