output 3-8 modes

output

Specifies the output type on the selected output.

12V driving - Output is either +12V or "floating" (nothing). Standard mode for general loads (ECUs, fans, pumps, lights etc)

H-bridge - Output is either +12V or GND. For driving bi-directional servo motors.

12v driving with wiper park grounding - For wiper motors. Grounds the outputs when the wipers are off to lock their position.

Note: Outputs set to H-bridge should NOT be parallel wired, and should NOT be used to drive any electric loads!

Different output types

H-Bridge

When output is off/disabled, the output is grounded.

When output is on/activated, the output is +12V.

Note: H-bridge are useful for driving motors in both directions, otherwise you never use this type of output.

For power hungry E-Throttles (like the BMW S54), it is recommended to paralell wire the outputs, see BMW S54.

Low driving (GND)

When output is off(disabled, the output is not connected.

When output is on/activated, the output is grounded.

High driving (+12V)

When output is off/disabled, the output is not connected.

When output is on/activated, the output is +12V.
