Note: PDM is under development, will be officially released during 2019.

Note on REV2 PDM Prototype test units: The planned low power sleep isn't available on these units yet. Even with all outputs off, the PDM draws 0.07A constantly. Use a battery disconnect switch for extended storage periods (a low power mode will be available in production units, drawing 0.1mA in sleep mode).

pdm digital Input function

PDM digital function inputs.

Multiple sources can trigger the same function. For example, a button wired to an input on the PDM, and a CAN Keypad can trigger the starter motor function at the same time. Just one of the inputs needs to be active at the same time to trigger a function.

input functions

Ignition key -  - When triggered, the PDM output function XXX is active..

starter - When triggered, the PDM output function Starter Motor Solenoid is active.

reset pdm faults - When triggered, the PDM output function XXX is active.

turn signal left - When triggered, the PDM output function Turn signal left is active.

turn signal right - When triggered, the PDM output function Turn signal RIGHT is active.

turn signal hazard - When triggered, the PDM output function Turn signal HAZARD is active.

wipers, low speed - When triggered, the PDM output function Wipers low speed is active.

wipers, high speed - When triggered, the PDM output function Wipers HIGH speed is active.

wipers, park - When triggered, the PDM output functions Wipers low/HIGH speed is deactivated.

lights, low beam - When triggered, the PDM output function Lights low beam is active.

lights, high beam - When triggered, the PDM output function Lights HIGH beam is active.

lights, general - When triggered, the PDM output function Lights GENERAL is active.

Input active level

Specifies whether function is active when voltage is high or low.

Input pullup resistor

If enabled, a +12V pullup is active on the output, which means the analog input can also be used as a regular digital input (switched to ground).
